Office Manager
Kristin started with us as a veterinary assistant and kennel manager. She grew up in the area, graduated from Northwest High School and completed 1-1/2 years of computer science at Rockingham Community College. She lives on a small farm in Brown Summit with her husband and 2 boys who have practically grown up at out hospital. Her experience with computers has been a great help to us. She has become an integral member and is proficient in customer service, ordering, assisting the doctors in medicine and surgery. We depend on her greatly.
Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist
Ruth started working here when she was in high school. She has worked her way from the kennels to being a versatile employee throughout the hospital. She is detail oriented and loves to please the clients and their pets. She is only working part time while she is busy taking care of her 3 young children. We are counting on her coming back when the kids are in school.
Lead Receptionist/Vet. Assistant
Ashley started with us as a kennel assistant in August 2009. She quickly worked up to veterinary assistant/receptionist. She spent her childhood on her family's horse farm in Madison, NC. Her love for animals guided her into the veterinary profession. She obtained her veterinary assistant certificate in 2010. Ashley lives In Stokesdale with her husband and son. They have 3 dogs and a horse. In her spare time she enjoys camping, horseback riding, church activities, and spending time with her family.
Leslie
Receptionist
From a background in the apparel industry she decided she needed a career change. Her love for animals influenced her decision to go into the veterinary field. With a strong history in customer service and and desire to meet new people becoming a receptionist at a veterinary hospital seemed like the perfect fit! Leslie was born and raised in Lexington, NC and moved to the Greensboro area in 1977. She went to college at UNCG where she obtained a Bachelors of Science degree. She loved the area so much so decided to stay and make her home here. Leslie has 2 children and a grandson that she loves spending time with. In her free time (if she ever gets any!) she likes to do zumba and travel. She is looking forward to meeting each of our clients and building relationships with them and their babies!
Registered Veterinary Technician
Nathan joined the Bel-Aire team in the beginning of 2020 and has quickly become an invaluable part of the family. Nathan grew up in NYC with his mother and sister who immigrated to the United States from Russia in 1979. He lived in NYC until he started Military school in Pennsylvania where he received his Associates degree in Biology. After graduation, Nathan moved to NC to further his education. He enrolled in the veterinary medical technology program at Central Carolina Community College and received his Associate in Applied Science. He sat for his National Veterinary Technician exam and state boards and became a licensed Veterinary Technician for the state of NC in 2018. He began his career as an ER veterinary technician where he treated patients that came in for serious medical emergencies. He enjoyed this work but wanted to work in a practice where he could get to know the patients as well as their owners, so that he can form bonds that are only found in a general practice.
Veterinary Assistant
Sarah started here after graduating early from Northwest Guilford High School. Growing up in Colfax, her family has been bringing their pets to see us since '94, so she was thrilled to join a practice that was so familiar. Sarah started working as a kennel assistant and has now moved on to vet assistant. Currently in school to become a registered veterinary technician, she is motivated and always eager with each patient. We enjoy helping her with her degree and she is excited to learn alongside Dr. Packard and staff. She is very nurturing and detail-oriented.
Mindy
Veterinary Assistant
Mindy started with us in February of 2019. She moved to the area from New York. She has been in the veterinary field since 2006. She started her career as a kennel technician and worked her way up to veterinary assistant. She brings a lot of knowledge, compassion and kindness to her work. She has a teenage son and enjoys spending time with him, as well as, with family and friends. She enjoys movies, music (she knows the lyrics to EVERY song!) and traveling. Her dream would be to get an RV and explore the countryside.
Kennel Technician
Miriam moved with her family to North Carolina from Pennsylvania in 1975. She has adapted well to the southern way of life and sometimes breaks with a little southern drawl. She graduated from high school and attended UNC-G in the late 80's and early 90's. She has worked in animal care for over a decade. She likes to get to know all the animals that board with us and their individual quirks. Miriam has a great love for art and music. She is responsible for many of our arts and crafts projects.
